Gregoire Capital is an employee owned alternative asset manager serving institutions and high net worth individuals. We are a global leader in the construction of portfolios of funds of hedge funds. Our portfolios become what we feel are a collection of several hundred of the best hedge funds in the world.

Gregoire Capital provides a low-cost way to gain ultra-diversified exposure to hedge funds. For 10 years, we have specialized in creating and managing portfolios aimed at generating consistent positive returns uncorrelated to equity and fixed income markets.

Organization

• In 1994, Gregoire Advisory Service Inc. was founded to provide consulting services to clients regarding investments in hedge funds and funds of funds.
  
  
• In 1998, the firm transitioned into an asset management company named Gregoire Capital LLC.
  
  
• Gregoire Capital has trademark rights to the term “F3”. An “F3” is a fund that structures portfolios which invests in funds of funds companies.
  
  
• Gregoire Capital is the largest and most experienced “F3” fund in the world.
  
  
• We manage over $1 billion for more than 600 different clients.
  
  
• We are a Registered Investment Advisor under the SEC’s US investment Advisors Act of 1940.
  
  

Management Team

James A. Gregoire, CFA / Managing Member
Mr. Gregoire has over 35 years of investment management experience. He established the consulting firm, Gregoire Advisory Services, Inc. in 1994 and Gregoire Capital, LLC in 1998. Prior to 1994, he was Chief Financial Officer of Prudential's Capital Management Group, which managed $100 billion in publicly-traded fixed income assets. In his prior position as Managing Director of Prudential’s $16 billion domestic mutual fund bond group, he supervised investments in mortgages, mortgage-backed securities, high yield bonds, and options and futures contracts. Earlier, Mr. Gregoire was a fixed-income analyst in the Private Placement Group at Prudential. He is a graduate of Princeton University and received an MBA from Rutgers University graduate school of business.

Scott D. Wolfel, CFA / Principal
Mr. Wolfel joined Gregoire Capital, LLC in 1998 where he currently directs product development and co-manages the firm’s proprietary F3^® funds. He is responsible for the development of the firm’s quantitative evaluation models and the ongoing quantitative and qualitative evaluation of hedge funds and funds-of-funds. Prior to joining Gregoire Capital, he headed his own investment management firm, specializing in sophisticated equity-based strategies. Mr. Wolfel is a graduate of Ramapo College and received an MBA in finance from Rutgers University graduate school of business.

Guy P. Haselmann / Principal
Mr. Haselmann co-manages the firm’s proprietary F3^® funds and leads our investor relations efforts. He brings to Gregoire Capital over 20 years of experience in proprietary trading, macro strategy, and hedge fund management. Prior to Gregoire Capital, he traded a wide variety of fixed income securities, currencies, and related derivatives for Barclays Capital. Previous positions included risk manager and portfolio manager for several major hedge funds. Mr. Haselmann is a graduate of the University of Delaware and received an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago.
